Village Food Self-Sufficiency: Pakcoy Cultivation Program in Wayun Village

The village food self-sufficiency program through pakcoy cultivation was implemented as part of community service activities in Wayun Village, Gunung Bintang Awai District, South Barito Regency. This program aims to optimize the use of limited land, empower women farmer groups (KWT), and increase food security at the village level. The method used includes land clearing, seedling preparation, planting, and maintenance with organic and inorganic fertilizers. The program was conducted for 43 days during the Real Work Lecture (KKN) period. The results showed that pakcoy cultivation can be carried out successfully in limited land with proper maintenance. This program provides economic benefits for farmers, empowers local communities, and supports the village food self-sufficiency program. The success of this program can be replicated in other villages with similar characteristics.
